Helene Verin is an award-winning designer of shoes, wallpaper, rugs, pillows, and tiles, her work appearing in countless books, publications, online, and on television. Verin is an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and has a professional certificate in fashion appraisal from New York University. She met Beth Levine in the late 1970s. Recognized as the expert on Levine, she has a collection of over 180 pair of shoes, and an exhaustive archive of her work. She lives in New York City. David Hamsley is a New York-based still life photographer specializing in cosmetics, fragrance, jewellery and, of course, shoes. When not taking pictures, he can be found digging around shops and garages for some forgotten record to add to his extensive album collection.
