This birds-eye view of the Bible covers every chapter, outlining and analysing all 929 Old Testament chapters and 260 New Testament chapters on a page each. The context of each chapter is placed in its relevant book. Each is also broken down into sections with headings for easy reference. Key verses, words, people, thoughts, things to look out for, cross references, puzzling ideas and quotes are all given. There are additional introductions to each section of the Bible as well as to each Bible book. The text uses the King James Version throughout.
Mark Water, best-selling author of the Bible Made Easy series, Encyclopedia of Christian Quotations, Encyclopedia of Christian Martyrs and many other titles. Mark Water was born in Devon, and trained for the Anglican ministry at the London College of Divinity, he was ordained in 1966. For the past 15 years he has been engaged full time in ministry of Christian literature as writer, editor and advisor.
