David Bedford (Author) David Bedford lives near Norwich in East Anglia with his wife and daughter. After completing his PhD in biology he worked in England and the USA researching antibiotics, but gave it up in 1997 to write full-time. He spends his spare time listening to music and doing t'ai chi. Jane Chapman (Illustrator) Jane has been writing and illustrating picture books for over thirty years and has produced many bestselling and award-winning titles. She and her husband live in Dorset, England with a permanently fluffy cat and transient sons.
