This title shows you how to do just that by using photographs supported by practical how-to information, garden plans, and case studies. It encourages the reader to focus on their requirements and to determine their priorities in terms of making the most of their space.
Andy Sturgeon is one of the country's leading garden designers whose modern designs are a fusion of traditional materials and contemporary styling. A Chelsea gold-medal winner, Andy worked at The RHS Gardens Wisley and as a landscape gardener before graduating from the Welsh College of Horticulture in 1987. He has since been a freelance garden designer with his projects frequently featured on television, in magazines and national newspapers at home and overseas. Andy has been included in House and Garden magazine's exclusive list of the top 50 designers in Britain and his work is also featured in BBC2's Small Town Gardens series. He presented BBC's Chelsea coverage for three years in a row, and for several years was the resident gardener on GMTV. Andy is a garden writer for the Guardian and was previously columnist with the Daily Mail, Daily Express and Sunday Times.
