A Bipolar Gospel by Henry Williams
The Christian story-in all its wonders and paradoxes-is the subject of this book. Williams' experience with bipolar I is the lens. His illness allows him see aspects of the Christian story that he never would have seen before, and forces him to grapple with doctrines that he never would have questioned before. This book is born out of his struggle to square his experience with the Christian faith and the hope that he has found through his suffering.
HENRY WILLIAMS graduated from Wheaton College in 2017 with a degree in philosophy and German. He blogs about faith and mental illness at roadcalledhope.com and lives in Oregon's Willamette Valley with his wife Laurie and his in-laws.
