Wallace Allan Wood (1927-1981) resurrected Marvel's Daredevil, inventing the classic suit that debuted on Netflix's big hit Daredevil. He was one of the best and funniest cartoonists of the first incarnation of Mad magazine, and he is widely regarded as one of America's greatest science-fiction cartoonists because to his work on the EC Comics line. He helped pioneer underground/independent comics publication with his magazine anthology witzend.
