Summary

"South Park" has no fear in tackling subjects as outlandish as Terry Schiavo, "The Passion of the Christ", and Tom Cruise's alleged homosexuality. It's a mixture of iconoclasm, cultural referents and intertextuality. Examining contemporary popular culture in America, this title looks at television's role in the creation of that culture.
