He is a frequent contributor to The Spectator, The Daily Telegraph, The New Statesman and The Mail on Sunday. Ray is the author of Everything You Need to Know About Wine (published by Mitchell Beazley).. Celebrated photographer Jason Lowe has provided photographs for several books including New Wines of France, Vine to Bottle, Bringing Italy Home and The Merchant House, as well as numerous features for publications such as The Times, Conde Nast Traveller, Australian Gourmet Traveller and Saveur. He has received two Glenfiddich food and drink awards.
