Gavin Goodwin was born in Newport, South Wales. His first pamphlet, Estate Fragments, was published by Knives, Forks and Spoons Press in 2014. His second pamphlet, Blue Rain, was a winner of the 2017 Cinnamon Press Poetry Pamphlet Prize. He lectures in English and Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University, and is a co-ordinator of Contempo (The Centre for Contemporary Poetry).
