Ann Dixon has written several children's books, including Winter Is and The Sleeping Lady. She lives with her husband and two daughter in Willow, Alaska, where they pick so many blueberries in the summertime they have enough for pies all winter long. Evon Zerbetz is an Alaskan artist specializing in relief printmaking and linocut illustrations. She has illustrated children's books including Ten Rowdy Ravens, Little Red Snappherhood, and Dream Flights on Arctic Nights. She lives in Ketchikan, Alaska.
