Robert Tyre Bobby Jones Jr was an amateur golfer from the United States who founded the Augusta National Golf Club and was a co-founder of the Masters Tournament. He was the most successful amateur golfer in history, dominating top-level amateur play from 1923 to 1930 and defeating several professional golfers. He was a lawyer by profession.
