The Body in Its Seasons by Maz Hedgehog
The Body in Its Seasons is a journal of Maddy's obsession over The Body, compiled in footnotes, conversations and diary entries. Maz Hedgehog unpicks the fabric of the poetry collection and reweaves them into a new tapestry of the experiential and lyrical.
Maz Hedgehog is a writer, editor and performer working in the spaces between real and unreal, poetry and theatre, self and other. They’ve performed on stages and behind mics from Edinburgh to Brighton and their debut solo show Let Me Count the Ways at the Hope Mill Theatre in March 2021. Their debut poetry chapbook, Vivat Regina was published by Superbia Books in 2019 and Tell Me Who We Were Before Life Made Us is an anthology of imagined histories they edited for 3 of Cups Press in 2020. Fond of fairies and folklore, Maz's work is imaginative, lyrical and exceedingly dramatic. Find them across social media @MazHedgehog.
