Bill Jones is a retired chartered engineer, who has been involved in industrial archaeology for many years. He is a member of the Association for Industrial Archaeology and the Manchestr Region Industrial Archaeology Society. Bill is author of The Dictionary of Industrial Archaeology (Sutton, 1996), and has contributed a number of articles to heritage magazines. He has lived in Bolton for over forty years.
