This is the third edition of the standard reference work on India's more common mammals. There are also 40 black-and-white plates, and a 2-page colour map of India showing climatic forest types and the distribution of geographical races of the Indian Giant Squirrel. This is a book for anyone interested in Indian animals, at whatever level.
