The Book of Love by Mike Bhangu
Perhaps the universe coded me differently and this is why my love journey is as is. Maybe my current understanding is jaded. Perhaps I'm on the verge of enlightenment. Or maybe this is simply a confused philosopher-poet's rant. Divided into three chapters, this short read shares my journey with love and my struggle to understand the phenomenon. Perhaps love is much more mystical than we're taught. Maybe there is more to the innate impulse constantly calling for satisfaction. Chapter One, through poetry, shares my experience falling under the influence of popular love. Chapter Two shares my memories of losing love, again, predominantly through poetry. Chapter Three explores a love beyond what is popular, and hints at an unbreakable love.
Bhangu, Mike: - From a very young age, Mike's rebellious nature predisposed him to challenge the status quo. His metaphysical knuckles are yet to completely heal, and on those hot and dry days, the scars are quick to act as a Morning Glory flower. Through his non-fiction publications, Mike Bhangu, aka the Thinking Man, has rightly asserted that the pen is mightier than the sword, and demonstrated his warrior-status in the literary world. He readily challenges the status quo and questions the rigid norms of society. In this, he's taken many hits, and on many occasions he lay on the ground for weeks. Yet, the warrior coursing through his blood pushed him back on his feet to take more. The Thinking Man does not adhere to just one sphere or discipline, and each of his books is different from the other. Mike's publications are a testimony to his ability to grasp the bigger picture and explicitly explore its many layers. His non-fiction publications are the by-product of over 15 years of formal and independent research and study.
