Philip Dodd is a writer and publisher specialising in international popular culture, music and travel. As a publisher with Octopus and Virgin, he concentrated on books on rock 'n' roll and pop, working directly with acts ranging from U2 to the Rolling Stones, and Take That to Pink Floyd. Books he has contributed to include 'Images of France', 'Images of Spain' and the 'Virgin City Guides'. He was the editor of 'Jobs And Careers Abroad' and is the co-author of 'The Book of Cities' (Pavilion, 2004). He lives in Queens Park, London, UK.
