Earth's Earliest Ages and Their Connection with Modern Spiritualism and Theosophy by G H M A Pember
Since the dawn of civilization, cultures around the world have preserved astonishingly similar accounts of "gods" who descended from heaven and took on fleshly form. From Rome and Greece to Egypt, Persia, Assyria, Babylonia, and Sumer, the earliest records describe powerful beings-known in Hebrew tradition as the "Watchers" and in Genesis as the b'nai ha Elohim ("sons of God")-who mingled with humans to produce hybrid offspring called the Nephilim. In 1876, theologian George Hawkins Pember analyzed Jesus' prophecy in Matthew 24 that the end times would mirror "the days of Noah." Pember concluded that the most fearful sign of Christ's imminent return would be the reappearance of the Nephilim: "the appearance upon earth of beings from the Principality of the Air, and their unlawful intercourse with the human race." Jesus Himself confirmed this pattern, declaring that His coming would occur "as the days of Noah were" (Matthew 24:37). Just as Nephilim dominated the earth before the Flood (Genesis 6:4), so too would mankind face their renewed influence in the last days. Does a mysterious verse in the book of Daniel validate this prophecy? When read alongside Genesis 3:15, which foretells enmity between the serpent's "seed" and the woman's seed, a startling conclusion emerges: Satan has seed, and it is destined to return. Has that time already arrived?| SKU | Unavailable |
