MIR by Alexander Besher
It is the year 2036 and the art of epidermal programming is all the rage among the fringe dwellers of the hacker underworld. Sentient tattoos can travel on-line, perform tasks for their owners in Omnispace - and even be transferred from body to body in forbidden techno-pagan love rituals. But these tattoos are also fraught with bio-software bugs that can wreak havoc not only on the user but also on the entire Net. One such virus, code-named Mir, is at the centre of a race between international terrorist and government agencies when its inventor is blackmailed and the handover goes disastrously wrong. Mir is free, and it is left to Trevor Gobi, son of the VR private investigator and hero of RIM, Frank Gobi, to regain control of the virus. Mir, however, has plans of its own.| SKU | Unavailable |
