Mark Speltz is a civil rights photographer, vernacular architecture, and Wisconsin culture and history author and historian. He is currently employed at American Girl in Madison, Wisconsin, as a senior historian. Deborah Willis is the chair of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts' Department of Photography and Imaging. She has received Guggenheim, Fletcher, and MacArthur fellowships, and American Photography magazine named her one of the 100 Most Important Persons in Photography.
