A Bouncer's Guide to Barroom Brawling by Peyton Quinn

When we hear the word chivalry, for many people, the image that instantly forms in our minds is one of an Elizabethan man, a knight in shining amour who is polite, kind and opens doors for people, especially women. While in some form, this is chivalry, it is not entirely limited to the act of opening doors for people, or helping people out of cars. It is also not limited to a gender or a generation. Chivalry manifests in different aspects of our lives; in our personal relationship, our work relationship, our table manners, and even what we choose to wear Most definitions of chivalry that you will find point out kindness, valor, honor, gallantry, and courtesy, as was the code of the mediaeval knights, especially by men, towards women. Now, times have changed, and people with it. We all have increased social responsibilities towards one another, regardless of gender, culture, or any other factor that could be a divide. I wrote this book with the purpose of showing just how chivalry can manifest in different situations that we might find ourselves, and how best to navigate such waters to yield the best result; which is one of satisfaction for you, and everyone involved. There is a principle of chivalry for everything that involves another person or more, and this book will show you just how important these principles are.
Quinn, Peyton: - Peyton Quinn is the dean of barroom brawling. He began his training in formal martial arts systems in 1964, eventually achieving rank in karate, judo and aikido. While he continues to respect and explore Asian martial arts systems, his real-world experience has shown him that for most people, training in martial arts alone is not enough for real fighting.
