Alison Kent, a native Texan, sold one of her fifty published works live on the Isn't It Romantic? show. Call Me, the resulting novel, was a Romantic Times Best First Series Novel finalist. Her 2005 Kensington Brava publication, The Beach Alibi, earned her a national Quill Award nomination. Striptease, from her popular gIRL-gEAR series, was nominated for an RT Reviewer's Choice Award, and No Boundaries, from her 2009 novel, was a Cosmopolitan Red Hot Read. Alison is also the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Writing Erotic Romance (The Complete Idiot's Guide to Writing Erotic Romance).
If there's a better job out there than writing, Alison doesn't want to know about it because she's quite content putting pen to paper in her Texas backyard. She shares her home with her petroleum geologist husband, three rescue dogs (one of whom survived Hurricane Katrina), and a colony of wild cats.
