The front cover has been redesigned and the title along the spine edge has been extended and now reads: Bournemouth/Christchurch/Poole. Also added to the front cover is a coloured circular symbol which reads: Bournemouth Large Scale Town Centre. On the back cover the price bar code has been deleted and a coloured circular symbol which features our web site address has been added. The street mapping has been extended with coverage of Brockenhurst on pages 72-73 and Lyndhust on page 71. On pages 4 & 5 there are two further extra pages of mapping with newly drawn, large scale (8 inches to 1 mile), town centre maps of both Bournemouth and Poole. The Contents and Reference panel on page 1 shows a new colour scheme that depicts important buildings with different colour infills e.g. educational establishments have an orange infill and hospitals and hospices have a green infill. Roads that have restricted access are shown with a purple infill and pedestrianized roads have a pink infill. Fire Stations and Post Offices are now shown by red squares and stars respectively, while Police Stations are represented by a blue triangle. Parking symbols are shown in blue. The scale is shown in metric as well as imperial.
