Bread of Heaven by Ieuan Evans
Ieuan Evans has enjoyed an outstanding rugby career as a right-wing with Llanelli, Bath, Wales and the British Lions, skippering Wales to the World Cup in South Africa in 1995. Updated to include the British Lions tour in 1997, this book looks at his charismatic personality and talent.
Peter Jackson's family was closely involved with three plotland properties from the 1930s. They were permanent residents during the war and, again, from the later 1950s. Peter is a retired school teacher and creator of the website for the Dunton Plotland. Deanna Walker's family regularly escaped from Dagenham to their place in the country in the 1970s. She described the experience in Basildon Plotlands and has continued to research the area, teaching day schools on the subject for the Workers Educational Association. She works at the University of Essex.
