He has been married to Jennifer (Simmons) Miller since 1978 and they have three sons and a daughter and their fifth grandchild is expected in 2016. In addition to serving the church, he is committed to supporting the New York Yankees, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and any team competing against either the Boston Red Sox or the New England Patriots!
