The Author: Peter H. Moll was born in 1960 in Hamburg. He is of Danish nationality and was educated in a number of social sciences, such as modern history, political sciences, philosophy and modern literature. He received his Ph.D. from the University of East Anglia, U.K. in Environmental Sciences. Since 1990 he has helped to build up the only futures studies institution in Germany, the Secretariat for Futures Studies. His research activities and publications focus on international futures studies, sustainable development and the changing international political and economic order.
