Previously, Singer wrote The Making of Oliver Stone's Heaven and Earth and making of books for Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman &Robin, as well as A Cut Above: 50 Film Directors Talk About Their Craft and 13 annual editions of the pre-internet age reference book Michael Singer's Film Directors: A Complete Guide.
Timothy Shaner has designed more than fifty books, including The Art of X2: The Making of the Blockbuster Movie; The Da Vinci Code Illustrated Screenplay; Kingdom of Heaven: The Ridley Scott Film and the History Behind the Story; Tim Burton's Corpse Bride: An Invitation to the Wedding; Ali: The Movie and the Man; and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: A Portrait of Ang Lee's Epic Film. He is the design originator of the Welcome Books Little Big Book series, which has 1.5 million copies in print.
