British and European Trucks of the 1980s
Summary
The feel-good place to buy books

British and European Trucks of the 1980s by Colin Peck
This unique book explores the products of more than 50 truck manufacturers from the very largest to the smallest and most obscure during a period of takeovers, failures and innovative new products. Containing over 120 mostly colour images most of which have never been published before this book could become a major reference source for information on truck manufacturers during the decade.
As with the usual format with these books from Veloce there is good balance between text and photos from the era concerned.. Throughout the 80s there were many changes in the truck business with takeovers, failures and product innovation making the news. Colin covers these issues well, as always and gets great support from colleagues in supplying pictures to accompany his research. Always considered these series of books to be a great reference tool for students to reflect on and learn just where the European truck manufacturers came from Fleet Transport Magazine The interesting text is backed up by ... evocative pictures ... a recommended read.
