Kenneth D. Brown is Professor Emeritus in History at Queen's University Belfast. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and author of The English Labour Movement 1700-1951; A Social History of the Nonconformist Ministry in England and Wales 1800-1939 and The First Labour Party 1906-1914.
