Stephen F. Cohen is a well-known Soviet and post-Soviet Russia academic, media analyst, and author of a number of well-received books. He is an Emeritus Professor of Politics at Princeton and a professor of Russian Studies and History at New York University. 'Bukharin and the Bolshevik Revolution: A Political Biography; Rethinking the Soviet Experience; Sovieticus', 'Failed Crusade: America and the Tragedy of Post-Communist Russia', and 'Soviet Fates and Lost Options' are only a few of his books. Cohen is married to Katrina vanden Heuvel, who is the editor and publisher of The Nation, where he also contributes.
