
William D. Bainbridge is the William D. Bainbridge is the William D. Bainbridge is the William Warren Distinguished Professor of Law at UCLA, where he teaches Advanced Company Law, Business Associations, and a corporate governance class. He has also served as the Joseph Flom Visiting Professor of Law and Business at Harvard Law School, as well as La Trobe University in Melbourne and Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo. Professor Bainbridge earned the Rutter Award for Excellence in Teaching from UCLA School of Law in 2008. He was also nominated to Directorship magazine's list of the 100 most significant persons in corporate governance in 2008.
Professor Bainbridge is a well-known academic. He has published over 75 law review articles in prestigious journals such as Harvard Law Review, Virginia Law Review, Northwestern University Law Review, Cornell Law Review, Stanford Law Review, and Vanderbilt Law Review, among others.
