Cadillac Vintage Postcard Memories (Postcard History) by Debra Bricault

Embark upon a journey back in time to both memorable and forgotten scenes of Cadillac from the early 1900s to the 1950s. Enjoy a casual stroll down Mitchell Street, pause in front of elegant homes, and meander along the peaceful shores of Lake Cadillac and Lake Mitchell. This collection of over 220 postcards and images illustrates Cadillac's past as a once-booming lumber town and commercial center against the backdrop of the surrounding lakes and pine forests.
Bricault, Debra: - Debra Bricault grew up in Cadillac and now works as a graphic artist in Chicago. Through her Cadillac Postcards website, she discovered a community of past and present residents who have a great affection for the town they call home. Her father, Ray Bricault, worked on Mitchell Street for more than 37 years. His colorful recollections of daily life in downtown Cadillac helped to inspire this book.
