Callum the Clashfearn Bus by E M Fearn

Follow the adventures of Callum and his friends in the Clashfearn Bus Garage. Callum is a very grand, happy but elderly bus, and is the central character in the book which is set in the Scottish highlands. Callum is usually a very well-behaved bus, but just occasionally he can be a bit of a rascal too. Sometimes he just cannot resist getting up to a bit of a mischief, which usually earns him getting a talking to from his driver. The story is written in a simple, straight forward and occasionally humorous manner, with light social messages being included where appropriate. The book is ideal for young children age 3-5 years. With brightly-coloured illustrations, children will delight in reading about what Callum and his friends get up to. The following books in the series go on to explore the further escapades of Callum and the other buses who are his friends.
E. M. Fearn has a masters degree in European Health, Safety and Environmental Law. Following a successful career working for several multi-national oil and gas companies, he retired and turned his hand to writing children’s books. Callum the Clashfearn Bus is the first book in the Callum and Friends series. He lives in Tain, Scotland.
