Marisa Acocella Marchetto is a New Yorker cartoonist whose work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, Glamour, and O, The Oprah Magazine, among others. She's also the author of Cancer Vixen, a graphic memoir that was named one of Time's top 10 graphic memoirs and a National Cartoonists Society Graphic Novel of the Year finalist. She lives in New York City and is the founder and chair of the Marisa Acocella Marchetto Foundation at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai.
