Her literary career began with the renowned Naiad Press and has since expanded to include more than two dozen published novels with Bella Books. She became the first Editorial Director of Bella Books in 2008. She thinks about books while she isn't writing them.
Karin has worked as a non-profit accountant for a senior housing association and a low-income housing lender in the past, as well as a document processor at an oil refinery for a short time. She is the mother of two teenagers and lives with her spouse in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is descended from Lady Godiva, a fact she will proudly proclaim to anybody who will listen, and she prefers real chocolate and a loud iPod.
