Carved in Sand: When Attention Fails and Memory Fades in Midlife, written by investigative journalist Cathryn Jakobson Ramin, was released by HarperCollins in 2007. Twisted, her next book exposing the back pain industry, is due out in April 2017. She's written for a number of national publications about healthcare, neurology, business, public policy, travel, art, design, and culture, among other subjects. She's a popular speaker these days, and she's arranging lectures on how to manage back pain for individuals, health care providers, organizations, and medical facilities. Cathryn is married to music composer Ron Ramin.
