Celtic Borders by Aidan Meehan
Borders are a natural development of Celtic patterns, whereby an abstract or animal pattern may be repeated to fill a band or frame a panel. This book shows how to create a variety of rectangular Celtic borders, based on a simple square-grid, and proportioned to fit a standard letter-size page.
Aidan Meehan has been researching and practising Celtic knot design since discovering the triple-grid method of Celtic knot design in 1974. He is the author of the eight-volume Celtic Design series and Celtic Alphabets, Celtic Borders, The Book of Kells Painting Book, The Lindisfarne Painting Book and Celtic Knots, all published by Thames & Hudson.
