Celtic Daily Light by Ray Simpson
Each day's readings in this devotional book includes a passage of scripture from the Bible, inspirational thoughts or information drawn from the Celtic Saints and one or more prayers.
It's biblical with a Celtic edge- Gerald CoatesThis book will help you pray with real delight. - Lavinia ByrneWhat impressed me about this book was that it isn't an individual's definitive exposition on how we should live a Celtic Christian life. It is, rather, a selection of many writers and biographers, cleverly compiled to address specific themes, leaving the reader to apply them as he or she sees fit. A typically Celtic approach. It is also a wonderful resource for speakers and lecturers . . . If you are the type of person who has a well ordered life and can follow the disciple of daily reading then you will enjoy this publication. - Charles Houston, Dalriada, the journal of Celtic C. . . The readings encompass a wide, stimulating range of material. - The Church Times, 3 July 1998. . . I found that each reading gave me pleasure and food for thought and prayer . . . You will enjoy it! - Austin Brown, Report, 3 April 1998
