Cheesemares by Ross Collins

A hilarious nightmare-fuelled tale from a superstar author-illustrator. Hal is convinced there’s a connection between his favourite cheesy snacks and the horrible nightmares he keeps having. So he sets off on a mission with Rufus the dog to solve his cheesemares once and for all. But will he ever escape from the horror he faces in The Evil House of Cheese and is he really tough enough to take on the evil cows? Particularly suitable for readers aged 7+ with a reading age of 7.

Ross Collins describes his younger self as looking like a currant bun and being very fond of drawing. He is still fond of drawing and is now an award-winning author and illustrator, but no longer bears any great resemblance to baked goods. His picture book The Elephantom was adapted by the National Theatre. Ross lives in Glasgow.
