Cheltenham's Music by Peter Gill

Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones, Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke and Gustav Holst were all born in Cheltenham. This book explores the town's musical heritage, focusing especially on the personalities, both professional and amateur, who bring so much to the musical life of the town every day of the year.
Peter Gill has been a professional musician for twenty years. He plays solo piano, with a jazz trio, with the Peter Gill Dance Band and his rock 'n' roll band State 51; he has released two albums and a charity single. He also finds time to research and write about Cheltenham's history, with six books for Sutton Publishing to his credit. Peter lives in Cheltenham.
