Child In My Life by Valerie Church
Kays mother never loved her. This was a strange ambience for a growing child and one shed puzzled over during her childhood and later in her early adult life. As a lonely little girl, she created an imaginary friend, who returns as an adult, making Kay question her sense of reality.
Valerie Church is a former lecturer in Philosophy of Education at Northampton University. Since retirement she has been researching local Welsh history and has had articles published in The Montgomery Collections and other local history journals. Valerie lives in Powys.
