Mark Alexander was raised in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. After serving in the Armed Forces, it was discovered by the author, that the pen or the writing instrument of choice, is a wonderful way to convey storytelling in a positive manner for all to learn from. After being convinced by his wonderful Mother Lois, who loved the concept and character developments of this story, which she used as a tool to help struggling readers in a volunteer effort, she persuaded her son to get it published for all to read. This story was the result of the many lessons learned through experiences of the Authors Mom, his two brothers Willy and David, his sister Amy, and his four year old son Grant.
