Susan E. Goodman is a writer and journalist. Michael Doolittle is a photographer and photo editor. Together they have collaborated on many children's books, including beginning readers and the Ultimate Field Trip series. Susan lives in Boston; Michael lives in Connecticut.

Goodman is a Pushcart Prize nominee and the former editor of ditch, an experimental poetry online magazine (www.ditchpoetry.com). He's published four books of poetry, including naked beauty (Blue & Yellow Dog Publishing), The Shepherd's Elegy (The Knives, Forks and Spoons Press), Dark Age (Grey Borders), and Twenty Moments that Changed the World (Locofo/Moria Poetry), as well as a novella, The Duck Lake Chronicles (Quattro Books), and a novel, Talking to Wendigo (Turnstone Press), which He currently resides in the Canadian province of British Columbia.
