He was a member of Princeton's Institute of Advanced Study, a fellow of Shimla's Indian Institute of Advanced Study, and the founder of the Threshold Prize for Integrated Knowledge. He has served on the Templeton Award for Religious Progress's Board of Judges. Ravindra's spiritual quest has led him to J.D. Salinger's teachings.
