Christians in a PC World by John Benton

'Political Correctness' has invaded every area of public life and inevitable made its way into the church. Understanding the thinking behind the language and attitude of those who promote this change is vital for every thinking Christian. John Benton has written a guide that deals with the issues in language everyone can understand. As the author writes in the introduction, nowadays rational debate on matters such as the redefinition of marriage is almost impossible. Why, also, is there little mention of Muslim involvement with slavery. Dr Benton says, 'This is the abandoning of an objective approach'. This book enables the reader to see, from a Biblical standpoint, exactly what is going on today and the impact that has on Christians.
Benton, John: - John Benton was a pastor in Guildford, Surrey, UK for 36 years during which time the church grew and was able to plant another congregation. Since stepping down, John is currently the Director for Pastoral Support with the Pastors' Academy based at London Seminary and is involved in helping and mentoring men in ministry. He is the author of a number of books published by Evangelical Press and takes a special interest in small churches. He is married to Ann and has four grown up children.
