Christmas Betrothals by Sophia James
Innocent Lady Rosamund is sent to serve at the infamous Elizabethan Court. But she is unprepared to meet the likes of Anton Gustavson - a favourite of the Queen. Dark, brooding and mysterious Anton is drawn to Rosamund's ethereal beauty, but his secrets make falling in love far too dangerous.
Georgette Heyer novels formed Sophia James’s reading tastes as a teenager. But her writing life only started when she was given a pile of Mills & Boons to read after she had had her wisdom teeth extracted! Filled with strong painkillers she imagined that she could pen one, too. Many drafts later Sophia thinks she has the perfect job writing for Harlequin Historical as well as taking art tours to Europe with her husband, who is a painter. Amanda McCabe wrote her first romance at sixteen – an historical epic starring her friends as the characters, written secretly during algebra class! She's never since used algebra, but her books have been nominated for many awards, including the RITA Award, Booksellers Best, National Readers Choice Award and the Holt Medallion. In her spare time she loves taking dance classes and collecting travel souvenirs. Amanda lives in New Mexco. Email her at: amanda@ammandamccabe.com
