Last, but not least, comes A Christmas Special; a collection of secular Christmas songs, as part of Faber's Choral Basics series: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, O Christmas Tree, Jingle Bells and a new song: Another ChristmasAll four are written for soprano, alto and combined male voice part, and the music couldn't be simpler. The arrangements are straightforward, effective and suitably slushy (but not too much!), and have been very carefully put together. ... Overall, a good choice for those needing a few light-hearted numbers for the end of their Christmas concert.
