A Christmas Wish for Trafalgar Bear by Jenny Stevens
Being a retired teacher I saw this as an ideal opportunity to re-kindle my love of storytelling. I was born in Sheffield in 1950 and lived in Guiseley near Leeds until I was 13 yrs old.
At school my English teacher once said my work showed great imagination and flight of fancy, I am not sure this was a compliment?
I loved writing stories, living out imagined adventures created from my time exploring the Yorkshire dales with school friends.
However career, marriage and children came along and it was only a few years ago, after I retired that I started to write again and Trafalgar Bear was created.
His adventures have entertained and educated my 3 grandsons and I hope that this little bear will bring enjoyment to other young people as they follow the adventures of a much loved, well travelled, quintessential family bear.
