Christopher's Bicycle by Charlotte Middleton
We return to Dandeville and catch up with our little eco-guinea pig, Christopher Nibble. This time Christopher is on a mission to reduce waste as he recycles materials in all sorts of creative ways, to the delight of his friends and neighbours.
Charlotte Middleton grew up in a village in the Cotswolds. As a child she owned various guinea pigs and they kept sections of her parents' garden lawn very well trimmed with their nibbling. Those childhood guinea pigs are the inspiration for Christopher Nibble! At school, Charlotte loved drawing and would regularly illustrate her spelling and times tables test papers. She went on to study Graphic Art and Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. Her first book, iTabitha's Terrifically Tough Toothr, was published in 1998 and since then she has written and illustrated more than a dozen books. Her stories have been sold all over the world and Charlotte would love to be as well-travelled as her books one day. Charlotte's home is now in South Gloucestershire and she shares it with her husband, Endaf, their baby daughter and their cat, Pablo.
