As a DJ, he regularly deputises for Johnny Walker on Radio 2 Drivetime and on Richard Allinson's late night show. He presents the DVD Collection on BBC 4 and has done everything from Never Mind the Buzzcocks to a cameo role in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights. His books include the acclaimed official biographies of both Blur and James. He was a GQ Man of the Year in 2002 and The Sony Awards Radio Broadcaster of the Year in 2001.
