The book shows many stark changes; historic ballpark Crosley Field is long gone, while Over-the-Rhine is a neighborhood that was pretty tough and dirty and has been upscaled to a trendy neighborhood, particularly Vine Street. For Star Wars action figure aficionados there is no greater place of interest than the former Kenner Toys factory in the Kroger Building. Jeff Suess is the author of Lost Cincinnati and Hidden History of Cincinnati and is the librarian of the Cincinnati Enquirer, where he keeps the newspaper archive and writes about Cincinnati history. He regularly gives presentations on local history and lives in White Oak on Cincinnati's West Side with his wife, Kristin, and their daughter, Dashiell.
